2. Go white-water rafting
For adrenaline junkies, Rotorua offers world-class white-water rafting. Just 15 minutes from the city centre, you can tackle the largest commercially rafted waterfall in the world with expert guides from River Rats. Try River Rats they have great equipment and great guides!

3. Try ziplining

4. Go mountain biking
One of the things Rotorua is famous for is its increadible mountain biking. The trails are stoking and there are dozens to choose from. There is something for all skill sets, even the kids. BYO or hire a bike on site.
5. Visit the National Kiwi Hatchery

6. Walk the Redwoods
The Redwoods forest is magical, there are plenty of different tracks to ponder and its free!
7. Go geocaching
Geocashing is so fun and there’s hundreds in Rotorua. It’s will take you places you may never have found otherwise!
8. Luge down a mountain

9. Get some culture
Check out something a little different from the norm at Whakarewarewa Living Village. This neighbourhood is real life, locals living amongst the thermal pools and living their best lives. Try the corn on the cob – OMG it’s so good!

10. Have dinner at the Night Market
Hit the city centre any Thursday night for a massive range of street food, fresh produce and the odd souvenir. Well priced, there’s normally live entertainment and you will be supporting local!
